    Have you ever had that one colleague who seems like s/he is out to get you? Or one direct report who is particularly troublesome? How do you motivate staff to do what you want or need? Is it possible? Is motivation intrinsic or extrinsic? Do you wish you could get to the truth of what’s behind these awkward relationships? Join this interactive program as participants assess sources of conflict and various methods by which to negotiate through differences. This program may include the use of individual or small group activities.

    At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

    • Name several sources of interpersonal conflict in the workplace;
    • Compare and contrast how conflict impacts productivity;
    • Describe four steps used in successful negotiation;
    • Develop an action plan for implementing practical strategies to enhance workplace communication and relationships.
