    Why should I join Eastern Shore SHRM?

    As a member of Eastern Shore SHRM, you will develop a network that will provide:

    • The opportunity to develop relationships and contacts with Human Resource professionals in other companies to share information on HR concerns.
    • Availability of local professional development opportunities to improve your HR competence.
    • Availability of up-to-date information on pending legislation that may impact your company’s operations.
    • Opportunity to develop leadership skills by taking on a volunteer leadership role.
    • Development of a reputation and credentials in the Human Resources field through involvement in your local chapter.

    Who can join?

    Individuals who are responsible for any aspect of Human Resources within their company can join Eastern Shore SHRM. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

    How do I join?

    You can join the Eastern Shore SHRM chapter by visiting our  membership page and clicking on the membership application link.  

    Dues are only $30 per calendar year/$15 after June 1.  
    Meeting Fees are $15 for a member and $25 for a guest.

    For more information about our local SHRM Chapter:

    *Transitioning membership is open to active SHRM members who are unemployed at the date that their membership expires and for those who become unemployed up to 90 days after their membership lapses. It does not extend to students, and there is no refund if a member loses his or her job after renewing SHRM membership, according to SHRM’s web site. Visit for more information.
